Privacy Policy

Embrace Financial Services LLC
Effective Date: October 1, 2026

1. Who We Are

This Privacy Policy explains how Embrace Financial Services LLC (“EFS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares personal information through our website at www.embracefas.com (the “Site”). EFS is a California limited liability company located at 1464 East Valley Road, Montecito, California 93108. You can reach us at inquiries@embracefas.com or (855) 444-6043.

2. Scope of This Policy

This policy covers information we collect through the Site and through inquiries you send us, such as contact forms, consultation requests, and newsletter sign-ups.

If you become a client, the information you share with us during an engagement is handled under the terms of your engagement with us and the confidentiality obligations that apply to our professional services.

To protect your information, please do not send Social Security numbers, account numbers, tax documents, or other sensitive financial information through the Site’s contact forms or by regular email. We will provide a secure way to share those materials if we work together.

3. Information We Collect

Information you give us. When you complete a form, request a consultation, or subscribe to our communications, we collect the information you choose to provide. This generally includes your name, email address, phone number, company or organization name, the nature of your inquiry, and any message you write. If you book time with us through our scheduling tool, we also collect the scheduling details you enter.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect limited technical information. This includes your browser type, device type, operating system, IP address, general location derived from your IP address (city or region, not precise location), the pages you visit, how long you stay, and the website that referred you.

Information from others. We may receive your contact information from a person who refers you to us, or from professional networking platforms if you contact us through them.

We do not knowingly collect precise geolocation, biometric information, or government identification numbers through the Site.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies in three categories:

  • Essential cookies. These are needed to operate the Site and keep it secure.

  • Analytics cookies. These help us understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it. We use Google Analytics for this purpose. It is configured so that the data is used only to measure Site performance for EFS and not to personalize advertising.

  • Functional tools. These include Google reCAPTCHA, which protects our forms from spam and abuse, and Calendly, which lets you book consultations.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Some features of the Site may not work properly if you do.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. The Site does not respond to legacy browser “Do Not Track” signals, because there is no common industry standard for them. We do honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. When your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of your personal information. As explained in Section 6, we do not sell or share personal information in any case.

Third-party tracking. Apart from the analytics and functional providers named above, which act on our behalf, we do not allow third parties to collect personal information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use the Site.

5. How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

  • respond to your inquiries and schedule consultations;

  • evaluate whether and how we can serve you, and prepare proposals you request;

  • send newsletters or updates you have subscribed to (every message includes an unsubscribe link);

  • operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site;

  • detect and prevent fraud, spam, and security incidents;

  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights.

We do not use information collected through the Site to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

6. How We Disclose Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

We disclose personal information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers. These are vendors that perform services for us under contracts requiring them to protect the information and use it only for our purposes. They include our website host (Squarespace), analytics, scheduling, email delivery, customer relationship management, and IT support providers.

  • Professional advisers. These include our attorneys, accountants, and insurers, who are bound by confidentiality obligations.

  • Legal requirements. We disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when needed to protect the rights, property, or safety of EFS, our clients, or others.

  • Business transfers. If EFS is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred to the successor. Any transfer of client records will be handled consistent with applicable professional rules and, where required, client consent.

  • With your consent. We disclose information for any other purpose you authorize.

7. Technology Providers and Artificial Intelligence

We use carefully selected technology providers to deliver our services, and some of these tools include artificial intelligence features. We use business-grade tools whose terms prohibit the provider from using our data to train its models. We handle client information with care and in accordance with the confidentiality obligations that apply to our services, including when we use technology tools.

8. How Long We Keep Information

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy:

  • Inquiry and consultation information: up to 12 months after our last contact if you do not become a client. If you become a client, your information is handled under the terms of your engagement.

  • Analytics data: up to 14 months.

  • Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe. After that, we keep a suppression record so we do not contact you again.

  • Records we must keep: longer, where the law or professional rules require it.

9. How We Protect Information

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. These include multifactor authentication, encryption of data in transit, access controls limited to personnel who need the information, and oversight of our service providers. No website, transmission, or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee the security of information you send us. If we learn of a security breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.

10. Your Choices and Privacy Rights

Communications. You may unsubscribe from our newsletters at any time using the link in any message, or by contacting us.

Access, correction, and deletion. Wherever you live, you may ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we have collected about you through the Site;

  • correct inaccurate information;

  • delete your information.

We will respond within 45 days. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we may keep information where the law or our professional record-keeping obligations require it.

California residents. California law gives you the right to know what personal information a business collects and how it is used and disclosed. You also have the right to request deletion and correction, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information. We do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that would give rise to a right to limit its use. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes, as described in California Civil Code Section 1798.83. We will not treat you differently for exercising any privacy right.

How to make a request. Email inquiries@embracefas.com or call (855) 444-6043. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with your written permission.

11. Children’s Privacy

The Site is intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Links to Other Websites

The Site may link to websites we do not operate, including client portals, scheduling tools, and social media. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we encourage you to review them.

13. Visitors Outside the United States

Our services are intended for clients in the United States, and the Site is operated from the United States. If you visit from another country, your information will be processed in the United States.

14. Changes to This Policy

We review this policy at least once a year and update it when our practices change. When we make changes, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this page. If a change is material, we will also post a notice on the Site before it takes effect.
